Festive Fort Worth

Texas, as the largest state in the contiguous United States, has traveling distances between towns and cities that should not be underestimated, thus making the choice of hiring a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coaches or school bus from Bus Rental Texas a wise one if you are traveling, especially in a group. A rental bus will allow you and your group to travel to Fort Worth in style and comfort.
Located in the prairie region of Texas, Fort Worth is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth - Arlington metroplex. Sometimes to referred to as “Cowtown”, Fort Worth remains closer to its western frontier origins and cowboy spirit than neighboring Dallas. Fort Worth is justifiably proud of its cowboy history, and this is reflected in its food, museums, art and festivals.
When visiting Fort Worth in your rental bus, stop by Sundance Square. This 20 block area of Forth Worth is popular with locals and tourists alike. There are lots of choices for eating, shopping and entertainment, as well as historic buildings. Sundance Square is a center for outdoor events and festivals throughout the year. Regular visits to Sundance Square using the services of a rental bus will always reveal something new.
Not to be missed is the Fort Worth Arts Festival, held on Main Street every April. Now coming into its 21st year, the Fort Worth Arts Festival sees tens of thousands of visitors across the festival’s four days. Providing a visual spectacle of arts, culture and entertainment, visitors can pick and choose from art fairs, visual performances, live concerts and street artists. Stretching 9 blocks from Main Street down to the Tarrant Courthouse, this spring festival is one of the highlights of Fort Worth’s festival calendar.
Hop into your rental bus and head north of downtown Fort Worth to visit the Fort Worth Stockyards. Established in 1893 to process cattle for the meat market, Fort Worth Stockyards is today a popular nighttime and weekend destination. Here you can find exhibits and displays on Fort Worth’s heyday as a true ‘cowboy town’. For a true Texas experience, come on the weekend for the nightly rodeo, held in the world’s first indoor rodeo arena. Drop into Billy Bob’s the world’s largest honky tonk bar.  Live bands and line dancing hold center stage at Billy Bob’s every night, and its restaurant serve good old fashioned Tex-Mex food in large portions.
Closing out the year, the Fort Worth Parade of Lights in November began in 1983 as a means of revitalizing the downtown district. Now coming into it’s 30th year, The Parade of Lights sees beautiful illuminated floats, vintage cars, equestrian displays, marching bands and horse drawn carriages. Accompanied by a colorful cast of characters, the parade is a delight for the entire family, especially when Santa Claus and his elves make their appearance.
